Conveyancing & Completion FAQ's
The sale can still proceed, subject to the appropriate legal checks and documentation being provided.
The sale can still proceed, provided the necessary legal authority and documentation are in place.
Failure to provide vacant possession where agreed could delay completion and may result in additional costs or legal consequences.
You should refer to the property information forms and any agreements made during the transaction. If vacant possession has been agreed, the property must be empty on completion.
Make sure all requested documents have been provided and remain available by phone in case your solicitor needs instructions.
You may choose to agree a new completion date or re-market the property.
If both parties agree, an extension may be granted. If not, there may be consequences under the reservation agreement.
The completion timescale begins when the buyer’s solicitor receives the draft contract pack from the seller’s solicitor.
